Cockatiels at Seven - Donna Andrews Donna Andrews usually does a great job mixing humor and mystery in this series, this book just fell a little short of past efforts. The five miles above the speed limit car chase toward the end did get a snicker from me, but something (or someones) was missing in the overall scheme. Timmy added a new element, but he seemed to take over the book. Meg's mother, father, grandfather and cousin Rose-Noir made very brief appearances. Brother Rob and husband Michael played slightly bigger roles, but that was it. I missed the wackiness of Meg's extended family.
