A wonderful book from SAA. The four main characters have spent their lives dealing with other people's images of them in different ways. Whether they conform to that image, run away from it or ignore it, they still allow it to have a major impact in their current relationships. Oddly enough, the discovery of a body at the renovation of the Blue Ridge Madam, weeks before its grand opening, brings everything to a head. The mystery surrounding the body was interesting, but the real treasures in this book is the struggle each character goes through to deal with his/her past image and to discover who they really are.
