12 books in and I'm still fascinated by Meg's family. They're eccentric, puzzling and sometimes just plain crazy. But, they work. Andrews does a good job of turing Meg and Michael's surroundings into a circus sideshow, in a completely believable way. I still want to see more of Meg's family; they still don't seem to make as much of an impact as they did in earlier books, though with all the friends invading the house this time, it wasn't as noticeable.
