Frost Burned - Patricia Briggs [b:Fair Game|11480917|Fair Game (Alpha & Omega, #3)|Patricia Briggs|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1309650058s/11480917.jpg|6527880] had a big game changer of an ending and I was interested to see how it would affect the Mercyverse. While you won't have to have read any of the Alpha & Omega series in order to keep up with the changes, Briggs does an excellent job of revealing the basics, it personally made me more interested in certain events and visiting characters a little more than I might have been without the familiarity.

I absolutely loved this book. From the minute I picked it up, it just pulled me right into the story and I didn't want to put it down. When I had to put it down for work, it kept taunting me from the corner of my desk. LOL.

Mercy's personal life has matured since the first book. She's willingly made a commitment to Adam, established herself within the pack and developed friendships with other supernats and humans. In [b:River Marked|8230540|River Marked (Mercedes Thompson, #6)|Patricia Briggs|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1284571267s/8230540.jpg|10974973], Mercy uncovered information about her family and skinwalker origins. In Frost Burned, she uses her powers in different ways to help resolve critical problems. I'm looking forward to seeing where she takes this in the future.

I really only have one question: Why isn't book 8 out right now, so I can start it?
